We don't love asking for things,
Somedays, it feels like the world has gone mad. The freedom of expression is under attack. Everything we do and say is under a microscope and then we are also dealing with personal issues. A global pandemic, earthquakes, fires, racial issues, and election drama are sweeping our news feeds and filling our minds. People experiencing anxiety is at an all-time high. When the shadows of the world seem to be swallowing us, we turn to mindfulness and meditation as a way to find our balance and center. A few minutes spent in meditation can turn a bad day around. And when it can’t take away our problems, it goes a long way in helping our nervous system to handle the overload. If we can all take 10 minutes to focus on our breath, fill our bellies with air, and blow our worries out, we will cope with our struggles and overwhelm so much better. Somehow and someway, we are going to come out of this crazy year together. Let’s continue to listen, learn, support, and honor all of our differences. Together we weave a beautiful tapestry!
